Quite unlike its well known and highly inferior competitors among browsers
designed for WIN 95, the Opera browser, version 5.02, will resume
interrupted downloads, just as with ZModem transfer on BBSs. I have tried
it and tested it and it does work. With Opera you can even abort the
download and close the browser and hangup the modem. Then you can dial up
again and log on to your ISP, open your Opera browser, access the download
page, and resume your download where you left off. Amazing!

So, for this reason and many more, if you must at times resort to using a
Windows browser, I would recommend Opera as being far superior to any of
the others.
