Hi Adam
I'm always very happy for your help, don't worry about the repeat information!
I was busy struggling with Quicken 2015 which always puts me in a bad mood!

I am mystified that the pre-existing authority files should automatically
update the dropdown lists (and they are heavily modified) when the new ones do
not. Should this happen automatically when loading authority files? When I used
the RDM before, it was clearly a 2 step process.
I have copied the existing authority files, updated with our data, updated the
ENTITY_TYPE_X_ADOC.csv and our programmer Mai has updated the resource graphs.
The only thing I didn't do is add a concept scheme name to the last column in
the ENTITY_TYPE_X_ADOC.csv. To be honest I wasn't sure if it was necessary. I
took out the LA name but left it blank. Is this the problem? We have all our
entities simply showing under Arches, which I saw was the case when we used all
the sample authority files.
I understand Phil's point that you may not want all the concepts on the drop
down list but it doesn't make sense to me that you can't do everything through
authority load file as any changes made using the RDM will be wiped out when
reloading the custome database.
