Rocky:
Works as designed? You logout your user on a Window close, this should be invoked when the browser is closed by clicking on the X but it IS NOT. The browser does NOT send in a window close message to the server. Remember HTTP is CONNECTIONLESS and thus you cannot depend on the browser doing what you expect it to. Also, it appears that your users are getting random IP addresses. This may be the cause of the authentication failed message.

Subject: bowser issue with 7.0.0patch2
Folks,
We are seeing an issue with mid-tier 7.0.0 patch2 and we are wondering if anybody else is seeing this.
The problem is you go to a mid-tier form and and the system prompts for a login. When you login the mid-tier page comes up normally. Now you click on the "X" button on the browser to close the whole browser. Now going to the same mid-tier page it prompts for a login again, but now you get an authentication failed error. Clearing cookies and cache does not fix this. If you release the user with the admin tool you can login.
I have added workflow that does a run process and executes a _javascript_ logout on window close; this seems to correct the issue, but people will be required to login every time.
Any help on this will be appreciated.
