Some observations I have made as I traverse the minefield known as ITSM 7.0:

1. Although BMC has gone to great pains to remove the terms Category, Type
and Item throughout forms and workflow in ITSM 7, the Product
Categorization fields on the Asset forms still have database names of
Category, Type and Item (their labels are Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3.) In
addition, the field labeled Product has a database name of Model, even
though there is also a field labeled Model/Version (its database name is
Version Number) just below the Product field.

2. On the CTM:PeopleTemplate form there is a field labeled License Type.
Its database name is viaTIL License Type.

I would chalk this up to "Useless BMC/Remedy Trivia", but the fact is, we
all know that when it comes to reporting, Observation #1 is going to cause
some problems. Example #2 really is useless trivia.
