I have to admit I was very sketchy about installing the DST patch. I did it in a test environment 3 times and each time it failed to produce the desired results. My windows server would jump forward an hour but Remedy was still time-stamping records an hour behind. There were no other failures so nothing lost but nothing gained...
I bit the bullet and implemented the patch in production around 12:30am this morning. The clock struck 2:00am/3:00am, I created a new ticket and voila...it worked! All other tests were successful and there have not yet been any issues reported to the help desk. Perhaps its time to rebuild my test environment... Happy early DST to all! -Eli ________________________________ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Susan Palmer Sent: Sunday, March 11, 2007 6:28 AM To: [email protected] Subject: DST Test Results on March 11th 8:00 AM ** Well I hope everyone's testing went as well as mine. I found NO adverse results in my testing. We have basic Remedy/HelpDesk application usage and our main concern was business time calculations. I also looked at historical data and found no adverse results. I'm a happy camper!
