Also remember that as well as ARS 7.5 the ITSM applications will be upgraded to 7.5. This did not happen with ARS 7.1. If Paul is running ITSM 6 this becomes very important.

We are testing 7.1 (Patch 2)in our development environment, and are working through some undocumented features; we are debating on the 7.1 or waiting for the 7.5 plunge (considering all the items above) I think the bottom line is, If there is a compelling business reason(s)or must have functionality that drives the upgrade, then great. If not I try not to get caught up in upgrading just because there is a new release. And we would like to upgrade to version 7. But because of several reasons we can't plan for anytime before beginning of next year. Most probably between January and March. But then somebody came with the idea that it could turn that BMC will release Remedy 8 next year. So why shouldn't we go for ARS 8 straight away instead of first to 7 and then to 8? Does anybody has news of any thoughts on this ?
