My notes for a WIndows server Check the Email engine logs C:\Programs Files\AR System\AREmail\Logs\stderr.log If there is an entry regarding Java OutofMemory, we need to fix the java heap size. Increase the Java heap size for Email engine. Open Regedit HKEY_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\BMC Remedy Email Engine – bbsremedyapp\Parameters We changed the JVM Option Count from 2 to 4 Created 2 String Value options JVM Option Number 2 = -Xms256m JVM Option Number 3 = -Xmx512m Restart the email engine service Check the value by opening Task Manager Go view > Add columns. Add I/O Reads and I/O Writes and VM Size
