Our implementation was 95-96 winter.  I went to 2 weeks of class in
Pleasanton and we utilized Terry Treece's services also.  About 10 weeks
until go-live.  Terry helped us put a great system together that was the
basis for alot of expansion over the next 10 years across all business
units, until it was upgraded.  At that time we started at v1.x but went into
prod at v2.  All custom.  Very efficient.
