Hi,

Thanks for the information.

I just performed an upgrade to SP1, this corrected this issue. I can start/stop
AIE instances, however, I can't select any other instances except the first one
in the list that is permantly marked.

** I just verified (logged in as the AIE service account) that I can click
buttons that call aiexfer (start/stop/refresh) without error in the MT (7.6.04
SP1). Definitely make sure you are logging in as the AR account AIE is
configured to use for all of its processing.

AH!!! One feature we encounter early on... Try clicking the Close button in
the upper right corner (you may have to go to the the Data Exchanges page; that
is where I always did it from anyways). The AIE service account's password
gets hashed in a form. There was an issue where this password would become
incorrect and clicking the Close button set it back to what it should be. I
never understood what the Close button had to do with setting the password but
it works.

    Hi,

Thanks for the help, all. I have gone through the logs, no access denied
and I have not found any ARSERR of the same code, extremly weird since ARS is
returning that. I need to create a support case for this.

Question, the aiexfer utility is not suppose to be placed on the mid tier
also, but merely with the Atrium/ARS installation?

Earlier I saw a lot of issues if you tried to do something in AIE with
a different user than the user AIE is set up with, not sure if this is
still an issue with newer versions of AR System and AIE.
