We are upgrading the existing servers. The staging server sounds like more work that it is worth in our situation this time around. Since this environment is not fully in production with all processes (we still have IM, PM, AM, KM left to implement here) we will be able to take a 2 day down time (I actually have the process down to about 24 hours worth of work now but we need some buffer). I don't expect we'll have the luxury in future upgrades.
