Copy to new is not something that can generically be built. It was a bad
idea in the first place.

ITSM - should have a “duplicate function” (at some object levels) — like
Incident/Change etc…

But - with a master record having many child records - it is a complicated
beast. (I will claim - impossible)
(Claire — you may be able to write one — but it will have many assumptions
— which will become the next level of pain, (repeat))

Copy to new - only made sense when people were writing simple systems - and
copying a “single record’ actually solved the problem.

I say - good riddance - to copy to New.

Same thing with Clear. — Adios.
