I agree. The only place I typically use Copy to New (C2N) and where I miss it the most when not available is working with configuration records. Unless it is some kind of advanced config with relationships C2N works perfect. Since many/most user facing forms these days have some kind of relationship if needed I usually build a copy feature using workflow so you can dump the instance specific data like GUIDs,
