Just stick with it. It's worth the effort. In no time at all, you will have a best friend that will never, ever, let you down. Dogs are kinda like having a perpetual 6 yr. old. Now, I know that sounds frightening to some, but the intelligence of dogs has been compared to that of a human 6 yr. old, accept dogs have a kind of empathy that 6 yr. olds lack. It's hard to explain, but if you are a dog owner i'm sure you know what I mean.
