It is observed to be just opposite of what Sanjoy Hazarika wrote about
Bangladesh India and Sri Lanka CBRs (CBR - Crude Birth Rate).

He wrote, "it is actually better than most of India, not just the
NE. ane second only in S. Asia to Sri Lanka". This prompt me to ask
the questions:

What are the Birth Rates of Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka?
Do these countries have records of past Birth Rates?
see my questions and Sanjoy Hazarika's reply:

>From the following sources, Bangladesh possesses higher CBR compared to
India, and India possesses higher CBR compared to Sri Lanka. Also
Bangladesh CBR continued to increase since 2000 while both India CBR and
Sri Lanka CBR continued to decrease since 2000. Bangladesh is third
among Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka while South Asia has more
countries to compare.

Hello Sri Hazarika,
would you care to share your source of references!
(it would be interesting to compare)

I am yet to look at Census of India documents and hope to get back
later!
