Dear Mr. Talukdar, The calculation is true if we sale the crude in International market but then all the refineries in Assam would not get the crude for refining. The capacities of them are as follows:
1. Digboi refinery = 0.65 MMTPA (Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum) 2. IOC, Guwahati = 1.0 MMTPA 3. NRL = 3.0 MMTPA 4. BRPL = 2.35 MMTPA Total = 7.0 MMTPA If Oil India doubles up their crude production capacity, then definitely your calculation is true. regards Pait BKPAIT MANAGER-ISOM 7886
