Dear All,
I have read some of the reactions to the points of my mail on the subject. I
found the reactions are very much what I feel for long.
I want to express my feelings on this topic in general but for the future of
Assam in Particular. Assam is such a rich state in this country which has been
made hostage by all the political parties (National or Regional??!!!) You can
name any...All are busy in mudslinging once they fail to make themselves in
Power and the party in power also do the same when they are out..All the time
they are making fool the Assamese people-both politically as well as
economically. Politics is not everybody's cup of Tea but to live a peaceful and
standard life is everybody's hope...Some can make it but majority still
depending on the Govt aids...But what these political parties gave to the
people of Assam during last 60 years of independence...NOTHING..
I read a small advertisement in an Assamese daily during my student life at the
time of one of the elections by NRA (Non-Residents Assamese) that they are
going to sponsore candidates to fight in the General election through out Assam
and I was so delighted that this Party will teach a good lesson to the " Ghar
Bobhisan" AGP Govt in the coming election. But I never found their candidate in
the field...I want to know this answer whoever tried to create this party that
time... I remember there they had asking for the profile of the Candidate in
the form of a Bio Data...May be nobody (who want to serve Assam in better way)
has qualities as enumerated in the Bio-Data form...
I again request this forum to assist in forming an alternative Political Party
who can give a Positive, People-Centric and efficient Government for the people
of Assam who can Develop Assam to that extent which every Assamese wants
This requires support and assistance from all corners of this world.
