Does the *SENDING* domain use messagelabs too ? > This has been happening to my clients intermittently for a few weeks now. > I can't get to the bottom of it... I moved from IIS SMTP to Mailenable. > This has not fixed it. If I take ASSP out of the mix, no issues........ The whole thing is strange, I had some configs using IIS SMTP as the mail router for both inbound and outbound and never experienced such an issue, the SMTP just discarded the message in case the SMTP session didn't complete (no "queued for delivery") I think that it may be a good idea setting IIS SMTP to log full details and then looking at the logs to try tracking the issue, there shouldn't be any "queued" in there for such messages - as for the IIS SMTP logs I suggest you to pick http://www.lizard-labs.net/log_parser_lizard.aspx to examine them (the critter may also parse a bunch of other formats) and ease spotting the relevant log entries; also check your "badmail" folder to see if it carries any track of such messages ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Special Offer-- Download ArcSight Logger for FREE (a $49 USD value)!
