Yes I am having this same problem, but only with large emails >1MB. Has been happening last 3 weeks. Only happens local outgoing, not local to local. Older blogs say its related to viruscan, however I doubt this is the current issue. It appears that mail server is not getting a confirmed send. Tried increasing server timeout in outlook but not the answer.
