While iPhones are elegant, there is only bunch of apps compiled for it (you'd
have to jailbreak it first) and no SIP/IAX clients yet. Windows Mobile devices
or UMPCs will be much better for portable phones.

Bruce:

You may want to look at the iPhone. http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html

The toy runs on OS X !!! Literally !!!

And yes, there are IAX clients for OS X also. But a QWERT... not sure! A
touch screen version of keyboard... if that works for you... then you have
your dream list come true.

Cheers!
Reza.

Subject: [on-asterisk] Nice phone with WiFi and QWERT

Hi everyone,

I want to have some feedback on a good phone with great voice quality. The
phone should have WiFi, bluetooth, quadband (or triband), QWERT (keyboard),
and support SD cards (optional). Most importantly it should come with some
softphone (support at least SIP) or have Windows OS or some other OS which
supports another generic softphone. Softphone support or built-in SIP/IAX
support is important for me because I will be using it in WiFi zone 50% of
the time.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Bruce
