I agree it's a nice phone. I never said it wasn't :-) I have also used OS X on occasion.

OpenMoko seems to be an interesting phone -- but at this point I'm more interested in the functionality as was the original poster of the thread -- than to hack a phone.

I understand why it can be tempting for an engineer/developer. However the ability to have Asterisk running on the OpenMoko would interest me greatly. Regrettably I cannot be at the Linux fest -- so may be you may want to consider a talk for the TAUG group?

A distinct possibility, since I now have the slides for it!

Give me a bit of time to get a SIP client running on it, and it's a deal (until then it doesn't tie in to Asterisk enough :-) )
