Has anyone seen the difference between DD-WRT on a Linksys WRT54GL (or Tomato firmware -- I've only used DD-WRT) vs. say something like m0n0wall on a Soekris 4801 as a primary router? I've been finding that sometimes I over utilize the power in the WRT54GL and end up having to reboot the system. I need the wifi componant, but I'm thinking maybe using the Soekris is the primary router, then just sticking the WRT54GL on the network attached to my primary switch (or one of the ports on the Soekris) might be a better solution for overall performance?
