Last time I had any hands on with Audiocodes was long time ago ... My only issue with it was it was a pain to make it work with Asterisk ... I think I had trouble with their SIP implementation at the time and ended up having to deal with it using MGCP ... Bottom line is it worked, had good quality sound and I did not notice any odd sound characteristics ... But this is VERY old info and things may have changed ...

I went from SBC (which was not much better) to ATT 6 months ago and have had nothing but heartache... unfortunately due to the lack of decent (reliable) broadband in my area I have to use them for local & LD. So the topic of what is the best FXO gateway or PCI card for the money is of great interest to me. Has anyone experience with the AudioCodes MP-114 gateway? I can't even begin to beleive that the'd offer such a service. Even if they did I wouldn't want to do business with them. One of the big advanatges of going to ITSP provided DIDs is that I don't have to pay AT&T for the privalegde of suffering through being their customer.</cynical> Michael _______________________________________________ Astlinux-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.kriscompanies.com/mailman/listinfo/astlinux-users Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Astlinux-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.kriscompanies.com/mailman/listinfo/astlinux-users Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
