I will give that a try..  I was thinking of trying the Wrap image, think
that would work?

As the WRAP is discontinued, I am seeking a solution for an application to
support a couple of IP phones at a remote office off an Asterisk box; What's
best practice here with astlinux; OPENVPN bridge/tunnel?  Can it all be done
from the .rc file.

Kevin,

  If you wait long enough you should see the getty running on your
serial port.  Unless you add a "console=" line to grub you won't see
output from the kernel booting on your serial port.  Try this:


console=ttyS0,19200n8
