Kevin, I added the change that Lonnie suggested to the ntpd init script. I'll be uploading new images later today. (look for svn 1703 based images). ntpd should timeout gracefully within a short period of time now.
These images also have several fixes to the web interface. If you are running Astlinux in "pbx only" mode, dnsmasq is not started by default. I'm also not aware of a good way to assign the external interface to a vlan (currently). This is something that could be added (and is probably a good feature request). If you want your Astlinux device to provide dhcp in pbx-only mode, you would need to 1) make sure that no other dhcp server is on your network, and 2) start dnsmasq from rc.local (as it won't start if only EXTIF is defined). I had another thought. Is possible to do port based vlan on your network switch for the port that is connected to the Astlinux box?
