Darrick, Just a thought is it possible to have the Asterisk GUI as a installable module, so those that want it can install it if they want to use it.
One a side note on my debian minimum install test box I had the Asterisk GUI Version 1.0 installed which work like good I thought I will install the latest 2.0 GUI to see what is happening and guess what it works perfect too, so my guess is there must be something really strange in the Astlinux & Asterisk GUi mix somewhere. Hope we could get to the bottom of it for a solution as the Asterisk GUI keeps all the Asterisk file structure in place and if you manually make any changes to the Asterisk file the Asterisk GUI will not override them at all. Astlinux will really be a force to recon with if we could collectively find a good working solution for it. David also reports that his systems have been stable using asterisk-gui on trunk images that he's tested. Hopefully we'll have a release from trunk in the next month or so.
