Thank you for the info and link, looks like it seems to be an Alix issue as
I am using the Alix1c, one other thing I noticed is that if you use the
Asterisk GUI and setup a VSP Trunk, for some reason you get a congestion
error when you try to make a call, but if you manually setup the VSP trunk
all works well, this is what I have done at present. Strange though I
installed Debian + Asterisk & Asterisk GUI on a small 2.5 HD and plugged it
to the Alix1C board, and all works perfectly, Asterisk GUI, putty etc.
Darrick has had a look at my setup as well, will await a solution.

Bottom line, I have moved to pre 0.7 version of Astlinux that I build myself
from 'trunk'.
