Please DO NOT remove the asterisk-gui..  FreePBX is AWFUL!!!  In comparison
to the asterisk-gui...  and having to manually tap out and type all the
config files would be purely and exceptionally TEDIOUS! Yes the gui lacks in
some respects however it does most all of the repetitious and simple work
very well and then I can hand edit the pieces that I need to without
spending HOURS tapping out configs by hand

Ron,

If you do test the patch and can confirm that it solves the problem 
created by the Asterisk-gui, please report back.  I will then add that 
patch to the main Astlinux release.  If we can't get this resolved, we 
will remove the Asterisk-gui.
