Having the "DHCP discover during the RUNNIX load" failing is not unusual, since the 'first' ethernet interface in RUNNIX may not be your chosen EXTIF ethernet interface in AstLinux, don't let that bother you. Personally, I always disable RUNNIX DHCP by commenting out the NDEV variable in "/oldroot/cdrom/os/default.conf". Does (assuming DHCP on EXTIF is desired)... $ cat /tmp/mydhcpip show anything? Of not, DHCP failed. Upstream may be the problem. Possibly fix the EXTIP with a static address and gateway.
