(It is an required child of the feed element. Everybody are required to 
use it.) I was surprised to not find any mentioning of the feed element’s 
id element it in urn:ietf:rfc:5005. It was one of the first things I 
wondered about when I learned of the specification.

Then the question is whether the feed element’s id element identifies the 
feed or the collection [of entries]. As of now I am using the same id 
value for all the feeds. I will continue doing that until someone [in 
here] tells me otherwise.
