Honestly same here, I was just curious from a usability standpoint, I don't think I'll be throwing any money at Avid anytime soon, their stuff is rather overpriced IMO, even though they have some pretty dope integrated systems that work with their software. One thing I can't seem to do is get low latency monitoring while monitoring in Reaper. So I could monitor with effects for instance. There's a tiny but noticeable bit of latency there for me, enough to screw my timing up.
I have a scarlet 18i8 with the buffer set to 64, I have no midi input delay whatsoever. I feel like its not as much of a problem on more professional setups.
