Re: Corona Virus: is it the beginning of the end?
Ok 773, you perfectly demonstrate how inhumanly selfish and self centered society has become. You know what? I don't give a shit if you kill yourself, or injure yourself because of your crazy worldviews. But you should not have the right to endanger the lives of others, and put others at risk People like Akman really make me think mask mandates are really pathetically weak and are basicly voluntary. If I were in charge, I would introduce the following nationwide.
1. wearing a mask becomes completely 100% manditory in all indoor spaces, public transport, with the only eexception for medical conditions, which must be readily documented when asked.
2. Anyone who refuses to wear a mask gets barred from all public indoor spaces.
3. If someone not wearing a mask infects a group of people, and the infection is definateively traced to that person, and definitively proven the person wasn't wearing a mask, the infected people should have the right to press charges and demand monitary compensation and damages from the spreader.
4. Not disclosing covid-19 infection information and possible exposure should become a felony, with all victoms having the right to press charges, if it can be demonstrated that the person knew about their infection, but chose not to disclose it.
If even 20% of hese were done, the US infection rate would go down by 70% in a month or so. From what I see on this forum, harsh measures like this appear to be absolutely necesary, as obviously asking nicely won't get anywhere. The best language people understand is the big stick, and that is what should be communicated.
