The brick is a digital to analogue converter with a USB input receiver. Said analogue is output through RCA jacks to an amplifier.It is assumed that a PC will be the source using both the Squeezebox and the Brick. Just because your squeezebox scrolls 'billy joel' doesn't mean it's your source.
