This kind of garbage is not, unfortunately, unusual in audio reviews.
Every now and again I forget myself and buy some magazine or other -
perhaps I have a desire to buy some new toy - but within 30 minutes I
conclude that the best I can hope to receive for my money is the names
of some products that I can do my own research on, and the names of
some suppliers that I might want to buy from.

But the reviews? Full of unverifiable, subjective, prejudiced, tosh.

Come to think of it, I don't think this is just audio reviewers. Think
back to the last time you read an article from some
reviewer/analyst/specialist journalist on a subject that you happen to
know about. Did it make any sense? Of course not. Was it rubbish? Of
course it was.

But they get away with it because on any given subject, 95% of their
readers don't know any better (which is why they are reading the
articles in the first place - they want guidance!)
