yes, I did. My response to Tyler was in reaction to his making an absolute statement that there is no difference and saying that any difference is in the listener , not the gear. By implication, that is insulting my aural acuity and my integrity and he is the one guilty of bad manners, not me. If he had said "in my opinion or I can't hear a difference but maybe others can" I would have had a different response. I have a lifetime of ear training, that is not ego, it is just fact. BTW, I got it right 10 out of 10, My recording engineer friend got it right 9 out of 10.................that was enough for me. I don't know why it sounds better and (not being an audio designer I don't "need" to know), but it does sound better. Stock PS in wall = hash, grain and harshness in high frequencies Stock PS in a power conditioner= significantly cleaner, sweeter highs, better soundstage Modded Elpac in Power cond.= Another significant improvement in highs, soundstage etc. The differences with each change were not subtle. I don't know why the elpac sounds better, and I don't care. Again it was Tyler who was rude, not me. -- tomjtx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tomjtx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7449 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29058 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
