Well - stranger and stranger. I wanted to try Sailing To Philadelphia (Mark Knopfler) because I know exactly what that album sounds like in HDCD and non-HDCD. So I located my flac's of this album (from the HDCD and I know they lit up the HDCD light on an HDCD DAC via the SB) and decoded them to 16/44 wavs and burned a CDR (using MP9). However, this is where things get annoying as the MP9 HDCD light will NOT go on for the CDR. This implies that the HDCD detector in MP isn't just looking at the bit pattern?
