Your statement "I-Tunes is the format" coupled with your intention to write a review concerns me because I get the sense you may be going into this without a full understanding of digital audio formats. iTunes default audio format is LOSSY meaning if you are using iTunes ripped audio you are not dealing with the original source as you would be playing a CD via your regular transport. Pay attention to the tips others have provided in this thread to ensure you really are comparing apples to apples otherwise your review will amount to nothing more than misinformation. I don't mean for this to be a personal attack, I just want to be sure that when you pen your review it is written having carried out a like comparison, however subjective it may ultimately be. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask, there are many people here (as you've already seen) who are more than willing to assist. -- egd http://www.slimdevices.com/pi_transporter.html? >> http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/shopbycable/1800F.htm >> http://www.atc.gb.net/homeamplifier/sca2.html >> http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/shopbycable/1800F.htm >> http://www.atc.gb.net/domestic/scm100slat.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------ egd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3425 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=37190 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
