thats right!

to put it in other words. yes, vinyl is noisier than cd but the noise
in vinyl is as natural as the sound of silence, so it gives to the
whole experience of playback. Whereas cd's noiseless render is
completely unnatural in regards to a live performance, so its noise,
even if lower, sounds digitally artificial, therefore it bothers and
takes away form the playback experience.

The next time you go to a live performance focus on the background
noise and then you will understand my argument.
