I'm hoping for some practical advice on the following 2 problems: 1) I have a small apartment and the fridge is too loud. Beyond adding rugs to absord some sound, does anyone have suggestions?
2) My Motorola HD DVR unit in the living room is on a glass tv stand and the slight whirring noise is just enough to be annoying. Unplugging or moving isn't practical, so I could use some ideas to absorb that sound.
