Thanks for all the suggestions. The fridge is new, but it's cheap (I rent). As for the HD DVR, I have upgraded it once recently. I'll try the mdf thing or something along those lines.

Already got an email reply with a detailed recommendation (for the fridge) and a number to call for a final discussion prior to purchase.
