One tip for the behringer - I find the results are better when the mic is used pointing vertically rather than at the speakers. It's not as snappy, especially if you use 24 or 32 bit filters. But even with 24 bit, the pause before playing is pretty minor (maybe 1 or 2 seconds) running on my 4 year old PC.
