I run my TP into 2 Classe CAM-350 monos into Aerial Model 9 speakers. I use Endler attenuators to control the gain. I think this setup sounds great. Better than with a pre. I run my SB3 through an integrated amp into some 25 y/o Klipsch Heresys. I think the SB3 benefits from the pre. Sounds great for what it is.
