Good morning Ligald,my Transporter is connected to my Preamp via Linn Silver interconnects (RCA)unbalanced. my preamplifier(Timpano); is from a German audio company called Bonnec Audiosystemes. they are hand built units and have a very low noise floor. my other audio components are connected to the pre i.e. LP12/Lingo/Linto/Akurate C4200 Power amplifier. i've heard your 802d's in a Linn/Naim setup and they did sound very good,and i did fancy a pair of 805se in Tigerseye finish!.
