Having spent a lengthy time doing listening tests I have come to the same conclusion - don't bother to force server-side upsampling, let the TACT do its stuff. I can't hear any difference (this is with the Touch as s/pdif source). By the way, the TACT is still doing ASRC on any input even in Bypass mode (which is really badly named - it's nothing like "bypass" at all!) -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
