Yes the mic gain auto adjusts when you move the mic - you should seek out the TACT users forum (TAUG) on Yahoo Groups for more support/advice. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
