I just don't get this anti pre-amp prejudice.
What's a couple of high quality op-amps and a few resistors in the
scheme of things?
It's really REALLY not hard to build a transparent pre-amp. In fact
it's much easier than building a transparent power amp. (Sorry CliveB -
I know you disagree!)

Your music has already been mangled by several 5532/4's (at best)
anyway in most cases.

Anyway, the "TP2" isn't going to happen IMO. The true high-end is
already sewn-up by trad high-end manufacturers who have the cred to
sell big bucks units into that space. There's no volume/margin hit for
Logitech here. The TP was a vanity project for SD. For Logitech...
killed at the first meeting I reckon. They just don't do vanity
products.
