<subjective opinions> According to reviews from different audio forums (including PS Audio and Linn), PWD easily outperforms more expensive Akurate DS. </subjective opinions> <rumbles> At this speed (a new DAC every 3 years) we may expect a new product line in 2012 which will be the latest and the greatest and current DAC's will lose 50% of their value, 5 more years and they can be used as doorstops. Do I actually want to audition the PWD? If it is indeed much better (I'm absolutely sure it is) I will want to buy it and get rid of the Transporter (I'm pretty happy with, as of now) ASAP. Why bother, then?
