Nice to see the Transporter still being sold. I like some of the ideas posted for a future player, though I am still very happy with my trusty old Transporter, Boom and Classic. Only reason I would upgrade is if it had video support, but that's a different ballgame I guess. Or if it was so cool I could not keep my wallet closed :)
The only place I still miss my music would be in my car. As a future Squeezebox I would love to see one designed much like a car radio, with an AM/FM tuner built in, or a digital radio. Enough SSD storage for all my music, decent amp to power a basic car speaker system and a basic internal server so you can select music, etc.. And... an autosync feature that connects to my SqueezeboxServer at home via wifi when I park the car near my home, and makes sure I have all the music in the car. Guess it would work as a standalone product too if you could upload music to it through USB of wifi.
