And yes, he was trying to work it out with Logitech sales force.
Most likely it was the latter since many other users have reported many problems trying to use an external hard drive connected directly to the Touch. magiccarpetride;639310 Wrote: > Is that Logitech's problem? I could not agree more. Running SBS with a large music library, say over 100,000 songs, is not for the non-technical person. However using a Touch with mysqueezebox.com or with a much smaller music library is not really all that difficult. It's really not any more difficult, in fact it's less difficult, than setting up a wireless network. But then again using a Touch is not any more difficult than properly cleaning an LP with a vacuum record cleaning machine, setting up a turntable, tonearm and cartridge, setting up a phono pre-amp (moving magnet or moving coil), cleaning the stylus, clamping down the record, cuing up and lowering the needle and finally playing the record. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 (oops) -> Touch 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88540 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
