but with this product you sometimes have to use the manual or support
neither is as good as they should be ?

Some things can not be simpliefied because they are outside the product
?

For example running sbs as a service on a windows computer with
external drives.

How many newbies would directly realise that you can get permission
problem and that you must use UNC paths instead off drive letters such
as "C:\something" ( these are windows quirks not fixable for logitech,
drive letters are only for userspace in win).

There is a lot of other issues outside of logitech controll such as
your network .

Pity that tiny sbs onboard the Touch does not work as advertised, that
would get it closer to a no brainer setup.

Except for your music files ;) with thier tags ? That mess is unfixable
because there is no "real" standard for that. And ripping ?

You can not get as simple as iPod with sbs, your expecting logitech to
open a music store with correctly tagged files to compete with itms ?

Squeezebox is always going to be a little more hustle because you are
bringing your own computer, network and files to the mix, its not a
self contained ecosystem like iThings.

Speaking of that, I watched 3 friends getting iPhone4 this week, they
struggled a bit none was iTunes user before, so saying that iThings are
"easy" is not entirerly correct, it is "easy" because so many people
have learned this before. I would say that syncronising your phone to a
musicmanagement software is bizzare and unexpected in itself ?
