Mr. Harley is a dishonest shill for high end cable manufacturers, plain and simple. There is absolutely NO audible difference between a $10 USB cable and the $550 piece of junk that Harley shills for. Whatever claims he may have had as an expert on audio he surrendered by claiming to hear differences in USB cables. Don't believe me. Follow the money: the actual cost to manufacturer the $550 USB is probably less than $25 with the remainder of the money going to profit, marketing and advertising, you know like all those fancy ads in magazines like Harley's TAS. Advertising that pays Harley's salary and pays for those fancy lunches with magazine editors. And the Transporter's master clock is no worse than the master clock in any DAC, regardless of price. By the way the same is true for the lowly Touch! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97489 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
